About OnspotElec
An authorised DStv installer serving homes, complexes and businesses across Gauteng, open 24 hours with emergency assistance when your TV cannot wait.
DStv Installation Specialists for Gauteng
OnspotElec is an authorised DStv installer. Our work is DStv: installing new dishes and decoders, aligning dishes, replacing LNBs and cabling, setting up Explora and XtraView, and finding out why a picture has frozen or a decoder is showing no signal.
We cover all of Gauteng, from Johannesburg, Sandton and Soweto to Pretoria, Centurion, the East Rand and the West Rand. We are open 24 hours and offer emergency DStv assistance, because a signal fault on a Friday night matters as much as one on a Tuesday morning.
- Authorised DStv installer for installations, upgrades and repairs.
- Open 24 hours with emergency assistance available.
- Competitive pricing based on the work and equipment your setup needs.
The Way We Approach Every Job
Whether it is a new installation or a fault that has had you staring at a blank screen, the approach is the same.
Find the Real Cause
We trace faults through the dish, LNB, cabling and decoder instead of replacing parts on a hunch.
Explain Before We Quote
You hear what is wrong, what the fix involves and what it costs before work goes ahead.
Neat, Weatherproof Cabling
Cables are routed tidily and connectors are sealed against water, which is where many signal faults begin.
Test Before We Leave
Signal is checked at the decoder on each TV point we worked on, and you are shown how everything works.
Everything Between the Dish and Your TV
Most DStv problems live somewhere in the chain that runs from the dish on your roof to the HDMI cable behind the TV. That chain is what we install and maintain:
- Dishes and mounts. New installations, relocations and alignment.
- LNBs and cabling. LNB and Smart LNB replacement and cable repairs.
- Decoders. Explora, decoder installation and XtraView.
- Faults. No signal and E48-32, general repairs and emergencies.
Account, subscription and payment matters are handled by DStv directly, and we will tell you when a problem belongs there rather than with an installer.
Homes, Complexes and Businesses
A freestanding house in Pretoria North, an apartment in Sandton, a security estate in Centurion and a guesthouse near OR Tambo all need different things from a DStv installation. We plan around the building, the number of TV points and any body corporate or estate rules.
- Homeowners and tenants for new installations, upgrades and repairs.
- Bodies corporate, landlords and managing agents for shared and multi-unit systems.
- Businesses and hospitality for offices, restaurants and guesthouses.
